Embedded Systems Getting Started

Explore WPC Embedded Systems

We provide two major embedded platforms, GECO and PYCO, specifically designed for industrial control, IoT integration, and edge computing. Whether you are a hardware engineer or a software developer, you can find the most suitable solution here.

Getting Started Learning Path

1

Select a Core Controller

Choose between GECO (Graphical Embedded Controller) or PYCO (Low-power Embedded Industrial Controller) based on your needs.

2

Hardware Expansion and Wiring

Pair with corresponding expansion modules (such as DI, DO, AI, AO, Motion) and complete the physical wiring configuration.

3

Install Software and Dev Environment

The GECO series can establish a graphical development environment via NI MAX and LabVIEW; PYCO provides a configuration-free WPC Stand-Alone Python Editor for instant use.

4

Run Your First Example

Open the official example library (e.g., PYCO's AI_on_demand_once.py), click run directly in the editor, and quickly read system information or sensor data.

Need High-Speed DAQ?

If your primary need is high-bandwidth, high-precision measurement rather than edge control, please refer to our DAQ Getting Started Guide.
